Take a guess....

It was dreamy to say the least I had been listening to them for several years and my friends encouraged me to go. Mescaline and booze still did not hamper the memories of the transference between the band and me in the crowd. I was moved and motivated to see them as often as i could at that time...folks this is an easy one.....

I can narrow it down to June of 76 based on the Mission In the Rain. I can't get more specific without looking it up.

My first......

1: Alabama> Promised, FOTD, Me & My Uncle> Mexicali, West L. A., Minglewood, Tennessee Jed, L. L. Rain> Deal
2: Help> Slipknot> Franklin's> Playin> China Doll> Don't Need Love> Drumz> Wharf Rat> Throwing Stones> NFA E: Brokedown

Pretty standard set list for the time, so kudos to anyone that can guess it without research, or finding any of my previous posts discussing first shows.

My first show so no research required. Great way to get on the bus 4-21-84. 3rd show also had I Don't Need Love, always loved Brent's tunes. Cheers

I had to looks yours up, at first glance i did sense spring tour 84, then the "Don't Need Love" definitely reminded me when i saw it at Hampton earlier. Love this show, it was a great SBD with the traders as i recall.

The http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYa0JaRdokc is a great example of when we both saw them!
Peace
